Minnesota Sustainable Building 2030
Welcome to the Minnesota Sustainable Building 2030 (SB 2030) Website. This website is designed to be a one-stop site for questions, information, and news about Minnesota SB 2030. SB 2030 is a progressive energy conservation program to significantly reduce the energy and carbon in Minnesota commercial, institutional and industrial buildings. This initiative is being coordinated for the State of Minnesota Department of Commerce by the Center for Sustainable Building Research at the University of Minnesota. However, this program relies on the designer, building owner and utility communities in Minnesota for its execution and success. This site will facilitate the introduction, education and execution of the SB2030. Except for state bonded buildings, this is a voluntary program. Reducing energy and carbon in Minnesota buildings can be cost effective and beneficial to both the building owners and the citizens of Minnesota. We hope that you will look around the site and come to realize the important of SB 2030 and choose to participate. We look forward to working with you. Please use the comment box below to ask any questions that you might have or add comments on the program.
